A good foundation is a must such as Dior or Estee Lauder, with a Lancóme concealer, I used to like number 2. The most important aspect of foundation to consider is coverage and tone. Once this is chosen then you have to apply with a good brush, I use a Clarins one. But since I have discovered Mary Kay, 

I don´t buy these brands aymore. Now I buy to a friend and contribute to her progress, can´t change it as it´s the same quality but with a much convenient price.
